Instruction Fees

Denwakan is very much a grass roots dojo — we do not require contracts, we don’t pressure people to join, we hardly advertise at all! We do require diligence in practice. Regular attendance is necessary for steady progress.

Tuition/Fees

Fees are based on how many times per week you practice. There is also a one-time registration fee of $50.00 (based on continuous training). Fees for your first month of training are prorated.

• Progress is limited when you train only once a week. Therefore, once a week training is allowed only for special reasons.
• On the opposite end of the scale, you must get permission from Kurobane Sensei to train more than three times a week.

Introduction to Karate
(pre-class)

Introduction available by appointment only. Children must be accompanied by a parent. There is no fee for this pre-class introduction. It is an opportunity for you to get a brief introduction to the art, a chance to test the water without undergoing a full class. Stay afterwards and watch class!
